Roundtable:Feast:Books

First Roundtable of the summer term is this Sunday at Youth room from 7:00pm – 9:00pm, where we are gonna be planning the next Gathering.

We are also sharing an Indian feast together from the local takeaway! So please bring £3 towards the cost of the food (if you want to eat) and yes we will order some vegetarian curry’s!!

Also, I have 15 copies of Velvet Elvis (the book we’re using for our new look Bible study). Bring £3 to get your copy of the book – will be sold on a first come first served basis!

Bible Study

Bible study is back and it’s bigger and better than ever…

We are gonna meet at the youth room every Wednesday for an hour (7:00pm-8:00pm) of reading, thinking, chatting, listening, wrestling with Gods story.

This term we are gonna be using a book called Velvet Elvis as a framework for our Bible Study.

All you need to do is…

1. Get a copy of the book from Matt (£3 each and that’s a returnable deposit) BARGAIN!!!

2. Read one chapter each week

3. Come along on a Wednesday night where there will be a brief overview of the chapter and lots and lots of space to question, chat and argue!!!

Doors will open at 6pm – and we encourage you to bring your tea along (or partake in the local chippy) so we can share a time of eating together.

First Bible study is next wednesday: 16th April.

Roundtable

Anyone who attends the Gathering is welcome to come and take their seat at the roundtable.

We are meeting to plan the next two Gatherings before the Easter holidays. We will also be discussing and making decisions about the future shape of the Gathering!
